1. Choice of tapered section is usually determined by estimated pile
length.
3. Extension sections are essentially constant in diameter, and are
furnished one foot longer than nominal length to provide for telescopic splice.
2. Longer lengths are obtained by splicing extension sections (N) into
tapered sections (F) (J) or (Y).
4. All tapered sections include forged steel conical nose
factory-attached.
